Isao Naruse, CV

As some say “Photography is Language”, since I started taking fine art photographs, what I’ve been trying is to reveal and translate my inside feelings to the outer world through the photographs. That is what my photography is.

Long before I started photography, I wanted to be a musician. So my photograph also express music element as same as language. Edward Weston once said “If I could feel Bach when I took a photo, the photo is already completed as an art”.

J.S.Bach is the most influence for my art works as well. All the time, I face to the fine art photographs as I listing to and feeling the sound of Bach. Bach influenced against my Poetry as well.

I take photographs and write poetries, but what I’m trying to achieve is to bring them up to the high place of the music as a musician.

It will be the most honor if you could feel some like music through my creations.

Best regards,
Isao Naruse
